Reliable and professional company – they arrived to give the quote when they said they would, and followed up promptly with all of the details in writing. The guys were amazing on the day, specifically Markus, Tim, Ollie & Mark – they were absolute machines, fast, efficient, professional and friendly. How they manage to stay so upbeat whilst doing such tough work, brilliant job!

I recently worked on a two day job with two young men from this company and I found them wonderful. They were quiet, polite, thoughtful, careful and very obliging. They were so patient and helpful moving and removing heavy furniture into exactly measured and centered positions. The breakable items they packed into boxes were extremely well packed and subsequently there were no breakages. Highly recommend this company.

It was a move from the city to the country and a long day. Tim and Andrew were lovely, polite and very careful of my possessions, and really took the time with the fragile antiques to ensure they arrived safely in one piece.

Ben and Marcus were amazing. On time, super helpful and nothing too difficult. The left the place neat and tidy, and even helped me move something I’d been wanting to shift and couldn’t work out how to do it! I’d recommend these guys every time. Right from the start, my email enquiry generated a personal phone call to organise a time to come and see exactly what I needed – which was great as I had no idea how many boxes or people I would need to move! (A question you’re constantly asked by the majority of moving companies to get a quote).

Ben gave a clear quote expectation and what would vary it, and then before and during the process they were proactive with their communications, open, good humoured and always friendly.

The quote and end price wasn’t the cheapest but it most definitely wasn’t the most expensive (by a long shot!), and pretty darn close to what he’d indicated in his quote. Ben and all his team made the process so much less stressful than it may otherwise have been.

The Allen’s moving team were absolutely fantastic. Everyone from the front office staff to the removalists were extremely helpful and professional. I needed furniture removed from a three storey house that had some real challenges and then needed to avail myself of Allen’s storage facilities while my apartment was being renovated.

We were fortunate to be moved by Ben and Jason. They were a few minutes late but texted ahead to provide a new ETA which meant we were not left wondering. The two of them worked tirelessly … moving the contents of our four bed home in ~six hours, … they worked around us whilst we feverishly packed the last of our belongings, and provided additional boxes when we ran out. Fragile items were handled with care.

I have now used Allen Moving and Storage to move home twice and could not give them a better review. The first time we moved we had the Allen team wrap and pack our belongings and everything arrived in perfect condition at the other end.

Recently we moved interstate and had already left the house (State) when Ben came to quote. He is incredible – honest, reliable, accurate and I was so happy to leave our things in his capable hands. Everything was completed on time and 100% . Absolutely worth using this company over others for piece of mind and great service.

No-one’s ever at their best on moving day and certainly I wasn’t at mine. When the guys from Allen’s arrived, the place was a disaster. I was only half packed and I was in tears. “It’s OK,” they said. “We’ll get there.” And we did. Cheerfully. When the last item, the refrigerator, was ready to be loaded, they opened it to find it completely full. “No worries,” they said and carefully unpacked the contents themselves. When the loading dock I’d promised, somehow turned out to be an inaccessible carpark, there was not a grumble even though it meant a lot longer and harder unpack. They did such an exceptional job that I didn’t even bother getting another quote when we recently moved interstate again. What makes them so great, is the professionalism, care, and efficiency of all the team involved – from Vee who takes your call first off, to Ben who manages the interstate moves, and then to the men that do the physical move. This time we had Tim & Mark at our uplift and they took enormous care wrapping furniture and packing the truck. They were efficient, courteous, and careful. At both the uplift and delivery, the delivery men were careful. I’m so grateful for their help in making these very large moves happen so smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Ben and the Allens team. They made a big move as painless as they possibly could and they did it with smiles on their faces. Would never use again. Charged me ~$2000 to move 1.7km along the road, scratched my furniture and they still have my outdoor coffee table they won’t return.

Vee was very accommodating at short notice, Tim and Dean came early and did a great job, very careful, and the whole team is very friendly.

Ben Allen and the team at Allen Moving & Storage did an exceptional job with my move from my old home into my new one plus providing short term storage whilst I had new carpet installed before I moved in. I could not recommend them more highly.

A good service until we received our final bill, which was way over the initial quote – apparently this was due to an oversight their end to include the final leg of our move. A bit of a disappointing end to what otherwise would have been a good experience.
